In 2001, C. Constantini Cardiology Clinic (Current Hospital Cardiológico Costantini) starts its annual Scientific Seminar program,
as part of continuous education. Since 2001, four national and
one international conferences are organized yearly.
As Hospital Cardiológico Costantini, the International Symposium
of Interventional Cardiology for Clinicians became a reference in the
area, attracting participants from all over the world.
Thru its four editions, the symposium has put together important
names of the invasive cardiology as Jean Marco, from France, Eberhard
Grube, from Germany, Eulógio Garcia, from Spain, Ivan De
Scheedre from Belgium, Martin Leon, Gary Mintz, Joseph Alpert,
George Dangas, Jonathan Tobis and Gregg Stone from USA; among
others.
The event has the character of broaching current themes of large
repercussion in the interventionist cardiology that are presented
and widely debated by faculties and participants.
